Constant Windows File Protection Notice
« on: February 18, 2003, 03:35:18 AM »
Hello, I have searched all over the net and have yet to find a solution to this problem. For some reason, within the past 3-4 days, I keep getting the \"Windows File Protection\" pop up. I\'m using Win 2000 Pro, and I have to put the cd in the drive so it can copy the files. This is happening so often, that I just left the cd in so it can copy them automatically, and so I can avoid seeing the dialogue box. I checked my registry settings and the file protection cache is already set to the max amount. Sure, I can disable file protection, but it may eventually lead to a crash, and not knowing what\'s causing the problem is driving me nuts. I\'ve run both virus scanners (one being norton antivirus), check disk, ad aware, and every option system works 2003 has to offer and i still i get the same thing. Any ideas? Thanks.
