Word 2000 problems
« on: May 22, 2003, 01:01:47 PM »
Hi.  I'm new to this board, so please forgive me if I mention things that are \"old.\"  Anyway, I'm currently running Win98, and the problem I'm having is in MS Word 2000.  Whenever I start it up, I get these tiny dots on my screen, including on the word cursor.  At first they go away, but they keep coming back, until my PC finally freezes.  I can't even use Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart.  Does anybody have any suggestions or ideas as to what to do?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

Find all copies of NORMAL.DOT and delete 'em.
Make sure you don't have the Nimda virus. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\';)\' />
