Im using Photoshop like the tut does but im using Home not Pro. So everything goes smooth for me. I get no errors like you guys have been getting. I save my version of ntsokrnl.exe into the windoes directory. Then leaving the System32 version where it is withou overwriting it. I even double check by loading my version and the System32 version into Resource Hacker. And I see my edited bitmap that I created in Photoshop and then the original from System32. So far so good. But when I reboot it reboots like normal no edited boot logo appears.
The tut said something about File protection. I see nothing that tells me the program detected any modifications to the ntoskrnl.exe file.
Thats where im at.
