We have some WinXp Workgroup users that need to connect to shared resources in a AD W2K domain. All users have user accounts in the W2K domain.
We can instantiate a net use command from the workstation with the user's domain ID & password as parameters.
The access to these shared resources is functioning (slowly) but we are wondering how the authentication process works between the workstation and the domain with the net use command: Kerberos ticketing?, are the user ids & passwords sent in clear text?
