virtual memory error

I hv a 128MB RAM, OS WIn XP Professional.when i am veiwng .avi files with a power dvd software, my computer crashes with a blue screen error. I have to restart and the system informs me that the OS has recovered from a serious error.

what is running in the background?

128MB RAM with WindowsXP is pushing its limits to begin with.

You are basically sounding like you are just running out of resources.


Also check your codecs. If its a Divx Avi, reinstall Divx, Xvid, etc..

You should have 512 ram. I use more than 256. Buy more!!
