mouse cursor auto-clicking problem
« on: June 13, 2001, 10:52:30 AM »
I have a Toshiba lap-top and a logitech USB ball-mouse attached to it.  I\'m running Win ME and am experiencing a problem with my mouse cursor auto-clicking.  If I leave the cursor on a button on any given window or the background for more than 10 seconds the cursor auto-clicks.  This is becoming a real pain in the @$$.  Does anyone out there have a solution to this or have you ever seen this problem before?

Thank you in advance.

Have you checked in your mouse properties?  Do you have special software loaded for your usb mouse?  I personally have never needed extra software loaded for my mouse, if you don\'t need it, try uninstalling it and see if that clears your problem up (only after you\'ve checked the properties to see if there\'s a setting for this auto-click).
