Sata Raid Issue...(Sil3112r)

I'm having trouble getting into the SI3112r raid controller.

I just purchased an additional 6YO8OMO maxtor 80g sata drive for my a7n8x deluxe mobo, with hopes of configuring them to raid 0. (both drives are the 6yo8omo)

On bootup, it says 'press ctr-s or f4 to load sata raid configure' or something to that effect. Before I upgraded to the latest sillicon controller, it booted to a neat little screen, but since I had only 1 hdd, I couldn't do anything.

Now, when I press f4 or ctr-s it shows a set of 2 2digit numbers like this:

80,01 (i dont know what the exact numbers are.)

If I press f4 or ctr-s again, it looks like this

80,01
69,08
01,01
etc...

Anyone know what is going on? is it the new controller vers, or is it just me? any help'd be appreciated!

What I'd really like to know is whether I'm trying to set it up correctly.  One drive has data on it, and one is blank, I'd like to save the data if I can.
