I\'ve slipstreamed SP2 into the directory copy of the Win2K original CD. I extracted the boot record from this CD too.
I burned the CD and it booted OK, but when it has finished loading all stuff needed for install, a panel appears saying that I\'m going to install an evaluation version (which installs SP2 marvelously, but with a six months expiring term).
I followed the instructions and had no problem getting a bootable CD at the first try. But I don\'t know why the evaluation version bother.
Is it due to have SP2 slipstreamed? I haven\'t found nothing related to that.
I have repeated it three times because:
1. I thought it was due to bypassing serial number check.
So, I undid that operation. No good
2. The I believed it was due to the boot.bin I downloaded from
Techguide. So I extracted my own boot.bin. Bad once again.
So, I\'m puzzled. Any idea about what\'s going on?
Thanks in advance.

Miguel
