Ok , about smaller backups images or other you are right .
I started with a 40mb hardisk in 1990 and I thought I got the world , and then later , 500mb and I partitioned in 5 partitions .
I\'m talking about atari computers now .I still have that 500mb harddisk and it still functions on a falcon I don\'t have used for years .
I never got a crashed hd , and allways stayed with scsi hd .
I still think they are the best ,perhaps an \"idee fixe\" of me.
But then , you are right , if you want to be really carefull , and you have no place to put your backup images , you should make a partition of 4 gb to put your OS on , so you can put the image , and eventually the installed programs on another part of the harddisk .I do not have that problem as I have 3 hardisks , but I also installed w2k the first time on a 2gb hd and the installed programs and all the rest on another 4gb hd
