« on: September 06, 2001, 04:55:38 PM »
I have a dual boot system.

I also have a removable drive on h:
The problem is that when copying files 100mb+ from
the removable into 2k Drive the computer just resets itself???

No problems in Win ME.....
And some Ace files come over corrupt???
But copying from a CDROM no problem...

Win 2k is installed as Fat32 like ME...
Any Idea\'s ????

How big is your power supply?  Just guessing, but maybe that removable drive is sucking enough extra juice (and I bet it uses a lot of cpu resources as well, which sucks even more power), that it\'s overloading the power supply.  Or if the cpu usage does skyrocket, it could be a heat issue as well.

That main board does it use a KT-133 chipt set?

if so your problem is drivers - just upgrade, apparently manny people have had problems with that chip set, win2k, and large files...

/Take my advice - I don\'t use it..
