malware- clickspring
« Reply #20 on: April 27, 2005, 08:42:19 PM »
I have a dell and I got a wireless card put in it and i never have used it. I decided i would try once when i got a pop-up from dell on my toolbar that said network connection- wireless network now available. I went ahead and clicked connect, it gave me a warning, but stupid me did it anyways. My computer started going very slowly with it on so i disabled it and firewalled it. I tried to delete the connection several times and it won't delete. Its called 1394 connection 2.
Thanks so much again. I will probably thank you a million more times lol. I just appreciate that you take time out of your day and help people with their computer problems, even though I am sure you have lots of other stuff you could be doing.

You should be fine with just disabling the connection
It shouldn't do no harm
