Linksys Router Password

I forgot the password to my linksys router pref's...i tryed admin/admin but it didnt work (even though the password was different from that). Is there a way to get into it?.

well, there should be a button to press to reset to factory settings on the router itself.

ya hold that for 30 seconds and then run the setup disk on ur computer again.

why run the setup disk?

just re-program it....no need to re-install the software...if any are being used.

for all linksys routers the defualt password is admin there is no username that was ur problem you dont have to reset ur router and then fix all ur settings all over again just remember there is never a username just a pw and it should always be admin for almost all router brands
