Using system restore
« on: December 07, 2005, 06:50:11 AM »
I know this is kind of a longshot, but I'll ask anyway...
I updated my old version of Netscape 7.2 with the new version 8.0. Everything from 7.2 was lost. The email client, AIM client, Composer, and everything in them was lost. Can I use system restore to recover anything? Unfortunately, I had WinXP system restore turned off at the time, but I am running RestoreIt.

Nevermind. I uninstalled Netscape 8, and that weather nonsense it came with, then reinstalled Netscape 7.2. I dont know how they got there, but all my profiles, settings, and everything else are back where they were too.
