Using sony softwear on a diffrent pc?

I have a Sony VAIO application recoery cd, I installed Sony Picture Gear but when I run the program an error sign come up right after it runs it says:\"This application runs only on Sony VAIO series.  code=[32]. what can I do to get the program to work on my pc. can anyone help ?

You can try copying the program folder to the desktop machine and run the program.
If you get dll errors, locate the dlls and place them in the correct location on the desktop.
It is also possible that registry entries are needed.
Using your favourite registry editing software, locate the relevant keys, export to a file and import it onto the desktop.
If that doesnt work, no love.
