My laptop is getting slow plz HiJack this

i did turn off my firewall but it still say it on

If you see a message in the titlebar saying "Not responding..." you can ignore it. Windows somethimes displays this message due to the high volume of disk I/O. As long as the hard disk light is flashing, the program is still working properly.

I'm not seeing nothing wrong
Keep in mind, I want you too keep Zone Alarm running
You need at least one active firewall running, but you don't need both ZA and Windows firewall running

Try the following
Go to START>>>RUN>>>type in services.msc
Hit OK
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- Windows Firewall

Double click on it--- STOP the service--If running
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled

Reboot the computer

Does that make a difference?

If not, what is the last program you remember installing before the slowdown
I would also get more RAM for this computer!
