Making a boot menu
« on: December 22, 2001, 09:19:18 AM »
Just wondering how I can edit or make a boot menu similar to the 98 CD or Win2k CD boot menu. I have no idea what to use or how to go about this as I\'m still a little new to creating and editing bootable CDs

Thanks in advance.

You can edit the bootmenu of a win98 startup disc by editing the following files -
autoexec.bat
config.sys

Just play around a bit and its easy to figure out how the lines affect the boot process/options.
The files are text files, so notepad is probably the best choice.
