Here's something some of you might not know, but I'm guessing a lot of you do know. I'm just going to point this all to savesome people possibly.
Let's say the buyer payed you with credit card funds...
if they filed claim and close they could still call their credit card company and charge you back!! (reversal)
Let's say the buyer payed you with paypal funds or some online source...
then they file a claim and close, they will never take hold of that money again. (cannot reverse)
How to tell? You can tell which kind of funding it is by looking at the transaction details, and under funding it will tell you the type they used.
In conclusion, paypal is still safe if they do not fund by credit card.
