Help with XP Desktop Toolbar
« on: July 10, 2002, 09:58:19 AM »
I normally uncheck \"Show Desktop Icons\" to have a clean desktop for wallpaper and my everyday apps are started by icons on the taskbar (by right-clicking the taskbar -> Toolbars -> check Desktop). The problem is that when I do this, XP installs \"My Documents\" and \"My Network Places\" icons by default on the taskbar (even if I had already deleted them from the desktop) and they cannot be permanently deleted from the taskbar, whether by deleting them or by unchecking them in Control Panel -> Display -> Desktop - Customize -> uncheck icons. Does anybody know a workaround?

Thanks.
