You need a gmail account to signup, I think there should be a forum called guest help forum so we can help guests register I would send them invitations to get agmail account, and I herd there were other problems with registering, the guest help forum is a forum where you get no post count and guest can post so we can help them.

u shouldnt need a gmail account...u should be able to use any email...and it should be easier to sign up...thats the problem

also...we need more mods...and a new layout...

thats the reason im making the new forum scott...those r the only reasons...if some1 more trusted than me wants to make one...ill stop with mine...i just want a ttg with a better layout...more mods...and easier to sign up

Actually NO it was not always like this. I do believe i registered with a h0tmail address. If i do remember correctly Josetann changed it because the general discussion of the runscape section was full of scammer posting e-mail adresses. Also i am pretty sure he blocked Yahoo to.

You need a "real" email address to sign up.  Gmail is not the only one allowed.  Many many spammers use the easy to get, disposable email addresses like those you can get at yahoo and hotmail.  Gmail accounts aren't quite so disposable, and haven't been badly abused yet, so that's one free email address you can get and use.  Plus you generally get an email address through your isp (and if it's not your account but your parents', they often give out like five or so free, so you're covered).  As long as you're not coming here to cause trouble, the requirement to use a "real" email address won't bother you too much.  If you're coming to scam and want to be able to keep signing up with new accounts as soon as you're banned, we're going to make it hard on you.
