well i just got scammed...   http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':(\' />  but it was all beleiveable.... i mean he had a good method tho; i guess i will tell my story. it all started as a marvelous day in runescape world 1. trading was happening every witch way. i had a peachy 530k in my inventory ready to buy something. All of a sudden out of no where a dude with a red halloween mask.. lvl 3 was running around saying "FOLLOW ME FOR A CHANCE TO WIN A RED MASK AND 12 MILL!" so i did just to report him for his scamming and when we got up on the roof of the church. (there were around 12 of us including a f2p player mod) we got up there and he told us this huge story about how he gave away his account and dropped all of his items on his main and all he has left was his red mask and 12m so he told us he was gonna drop the 12m so he ran around a little bit and then said okay i dropped it. so we waited a little while and Poof! he actually dropped it! the money pile was huge i clicked on it but i was not fast enuff. then he said his congradulations and stuff. then he next asked the mod if he could do a trust game. the mod said probobly no... and said no but he started trading around. well when he gets to me im pretty convinced that he is real. that he is no scammer i mean afterall why would you want to scam after you just gave away 12m and are about to give away your red mask?!?!?!? so i put up my 530k and hit accept twice.. he goes around to everyone and after trading all of them guess what he does? HE LOGS OFF! just right there. i think he scammed sara skirt from someone else... some other rune items.. ya.. here are some pics i took the screenshots after the whole incident happened so i couldnt get his messages  but the mods and some other people after this happened.

well.. there you go... im guessing most of you are saying "530k... LOL! ive lost 110 Mill before." well, this is alot of cash to me. the most ive actually ever had was 720k. i no i sound really noobie right now but just came to ask if anyone would be nice enuff to maybe donate me some cash cuz i was gonna buy some armor with that money. Ty

Sorry to hear that, about 2 motnhs ago i had a few hundred mill (all i had )  and i wanted a white p hat, so i traded a guy he put it up and i put of about 200m i think it was and hit accept, he press accept, he logged out and back in and said " i lagged out sorry" he trades again. I was so excited to get a phat, i put up the 200M+ and he put a white p hat! i was so eager to press accpet i didnt notice he switched it for a chefs hat.. -.- I hit accpet twice and he logged i clicked on it just to find it was a chefs hat. All i had worked on for many years suddenly gone. I had less than 10k left. O.o i know how it feels, all i have now is 1,3m... from 200m+

Those trust games have been running for a couple of times and is obviously a scam everytime... I feel sorry for you but you definitively shouldn't have had done this... Oh well, good luck to make it all back!
