I thought i post here since this section is viewed ALOT and i believe this matter is very, very needed to see.
For those of you that don\'t know xvid (video codec) as completely halted due to a MAJOR company called Sigma Designs , INC. STOLE code from the GPL licensed codec Xvid. This is a case of the today\'s company ethic\'s. Sigma Designs has Horrible Developer\'s and in this case it\'s FRAUD aswell. Sigma Design\'s (Crooked Thieve\'s) want to make a buck off someone else\'s work because they can\'t compete with Other companies or open source software since they don\'t have a clue what on Earth to do with Video.
For those of you that have tried Sigma Design\'s (a.k.a Scammers) will understand how zhitty their product is. The only people and companies that buy it are totally in the dark on what is good and what isn\'t so they get blind sighted buy such companies as Sigma Design\'s (a.k.a. Chump\'s). Although this isn\'t needed to be stressed much because obviously companies like Sigma Design\'s (Weak Software) are expected to SCREW consumer\'s and companies since they have to BREAK THE LAW and steal code from open source and commercial it without even releasing there source code, which they legally have to but they don\'t/won\'t so Sigma Design\'s is CRIMINALS.
You might think im too strong on this...well ok i am. I program alittle and know the importance of creativity. You got companies like Sigma Design\'s STEALING public software, the lame knuckle heads that stole to make there spyware version of a free program that already exist\'s, and call there commercial bugged up verison NeoAudio (TOTAL ZHIT). They are not the only one\'s either, ive heard about numerous knock off\'s of DVD rippers totally stolen and sold commercially. What is happening here is a TOTAL LACK OF INTELLIGENCE in the world of multimedia. Yeh they know how to code but they don\'t know the logic of it so all they can do is steal code from software that is totally free to consumer\'s and add garbage to it to sell for a unbelievable price.
In the time\'s of the most free technology based society, there grow\'s weeds to steel even the free, just to satisfy what they can\'t themselve\'s...self-esteem. So if you and i don\'t take the time to try and cut these weeds, they will like all other\'s grow taller than us. From entering your world if I could manage I think i would see thing\'s the same. But sometime\'s an entrance to some world\'s I might be shocked and frightened and turn right back to where I came from. These weed\'s experienced the same shock but they didn\'t turn around...they rooted.
Just try and NOT use Sigma Design\'s (Vampires) crappy codec for it\'s stolen, and if you would you use it you would\'nt use it again anyhow because it\'s sooo INFERIOR.
