How Do I Edit My posts?

I made a post, and I can't figure out how to edit it.

Please do tell.

Ok I can edit this one but I can't edit my other one.

There is a time limit on editing, yes. However, I am not sure of the exact amount of time on this site.

well to edit a post all you have to do is prest edit at the bottum of the main post, but you cannot edit someone elses post. and there is no limit on editing.

So if I want to add something to my thread, than I would have to make another thread?  What happens to the first thread?  Does it get deleted or can we have 2 threads?

It seems like a nuisance sure, but it helps keep people from posting one thing, get called out on it (say, trying to scam someone) then edit their post and say "I never said that!"  If you just misspelled something or just remembered something you wanted to add right after you posted, you have plenty of time to edit your post.  Once too much time has passed, you just have to post a reply.
