Runescape like a month ago posted some article that said that they were gonna try to stop RWT(real world trading/traders). So what they said that was after january 2nd of 2008, they would not allow any trade differences to be over 3k. Soon after they made an announcment that said that they would change that and they would make it so that the trade cap would go by your quest points. The more you have, the bigger the gap can be.So this pretty much ticked a lot of people off. Still does and every one hates it.
Before all of that though, they took out pking to stop real world traders from going into the wild and then the buyer kills them and they get there money. At the same time they put a staking cap on well, i think you know, STAKING. They made it so that you could not stake over 3k. Then they changed that to and made it the same as they did for trading. So now pking is GONE. Staking is ruined, and they have made some very bad updates which have caused many people to quite and to cancle there members. The new updates have made it so that making money by fishing is very hard because there is no pking. It is way harder for mages to get there mage up with out loosing GOBS of money.
They also came out with a new mini game called "Bounty Hunter". I am telling you right now, this game blows. What you do is go in the cave that your level is aloud in. The first cave is for levels 3-55. 2nd is 56-90? or 100. The third is for levels 95 and up. So it is very unfair for people to kill others. By the way, every cave is multi combat and there are usually very big teams just killing others. So anyways, you get a person that you are suppsoe to look for and kill when you enter the cave. If you find and kill that person you get some kind od useless point and you get the items that the person droped. You will drop EVERYTHING if you die while you are in there. So anyways, while you are hunting that person some one els is hunting you. Thats pretty much how it goes. And they took out tele block and put it bounty locate, which just teles you to your target in the cave.
They also put in the grand exchange which is conveinent, but jagex set there own damn prices, so you HAVE to stay with in them, and many prices on items have either whent WAY down or WAY up. So all in all its a bunch of bull.
