Restarts while playing world of warcraft

Hi, My computer restarts sometimes when I am playing world of warcraft, the funny thing is that it only ever happens while i play world of warcraft. Sometimes I can play it for hours on end until it restarts and other times it happens within minutes. I am running Vista ultimate 32 bit, amd athlon x2 6000+, 4gb memory and an geforce 8600gts. All my drivers are up to date and ive disabled the automatic restart feature in sytem settings. this is a machine which i built myself and i have absolutly no problems with it until I play wow http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':huh:\' />  , i can play other games just fine. Have you received any Blue Screen errors you can report back?

Since this is game specific, it could be a User permission , I'm not sure

Thanks for the reply. I dont get any blue screen at all even with the automatic restart disabled. I was going to post on the warcraft forums but I heard they were useless, besides i had a look at a few people posts that have the same problem as i do and it seems that there problem is still unresolved.

Sorry, I don't play WOW
But try this and see if it's any luck, found it on the net

Right click your WoW icon, click the compatibility tab, check the box to run it in XP SP2 mode, And tick the box to disable visual themes and desktop composition. And check the box to run the program as Administrator (all under the same tab [compatibility].
Please note when you start up WoW (if you check the box to run as Admin’) you’ll get a message saying continue or cancel, one of the annoying vista things you get whenever you open WoW now.
But it’ll help a lot.
