programs not working, java there but not recognized

Hi....I turned my puter off & when i turned it back on, there was the blue screen staring at me....would not go any further than the windows screen......it did not recognize the harddrive at all......so i couldn't reboot from the harddrive when pressing f8......i did a windows home xp install/repair......now i'm stumped.....here is the hijack this log:

Download [color=\"blue\"]random's system information tool (RSIT)[/color] by [color=\"#6600cc\"]random/random[/color] from >>[color=\"red\"]here[/color]<< and save it to your desktop.

• Double click on RSIT.exe and run it,
• Click Continue at the disclaimer screen.
  
• Your firewall may alert you that RSIT is requesting Internet access. Please allow it.
  
• Once it has finished, two logs will open:  log.txt[color=\"red\"]<-- this will be maximized[/color] and info.txt[color=\"red\"]<-- this will be minimized[/color].
