Tech Clinic / Keep Getting Knocked Off the Internet - HijackThis

Questolo--Thanks for the reply.  Here's the HijackThis info that you requested (I've pasted the contents of the txt file below in this post, and I've also attached the txt file itself to this post).

Please note that I have downloaded adaware & spywareblaster, but haven't really used them to clean out my registry, out of fear that I would delete something useful.

Also please note that I have a digital video recorder (DVR) which hooks up to my computer, and so I believe there are ActiveX controls associated with that, which may look suspicious in my registry--not sure about that.

Tech Clinic / Keep Getting Knocked Off the Internet - HijackThis

http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />   I keep getting knocked off the Internet after short periods (e.g., 5 minutes).  I unplug & replug the modem in, and then I get online for a few minutes before it happens again.  My computer is hooked up directly into the ISP's modem, so there is no router issue.

I saw another thread where the opinion was given that this problem is caused by spyware or viruses.
