Hmm I seem to have somehow managed to disable my Graphics card.. even in Normal Windows mode... Well at least that puts my GFX card and drivers out of the picture... but how can I re-enable them once this proble is fixed :S

The test returned no errors... What the hell is causing this!?!?
OK I just tried running in Safe Mode again (With Networking) and the freezing has stopped... None at all! This is great! Only I can't exactly continue using Safe Mode for the rest of time (no Sound or GFX Drivers) So where should I go from here?

Now this is getting stupid. it's freezing more and more frequently. It must be a hardware problem as it's now starting to freeze before  Windows has even finished loading. It's either a CPU or a RAM problem. I think I'm going to replace my CPU (And my Motherboard to support the new CPU).

I don't know if it could be the CPU overheating. When i start my computer it says Check System Health! So I do so and find that altough my System Temp is pretty low (30 - 40 Degrees C) my CPU Temprature is reall high. Around 50 - 60 Degrees C and that's after it has been switched off for about 6 hours! I might try re-applying the silver thermal compund and see if it helps.

I just made an interesting discovery. I think that certain things seem to set off a freeze. For example just now I was seraching for a certain function in a Microsoft Visual C++ Project. I had found the function once and I lciked Find Again and it froze. So restarted went back to my project did the same thing and again it froze when I tried to find the function a second time.

OK I disabled the services and startup programs as you said but still no joy. I'll try the Video Driver thing later but wouldn't that mean I couldn't use my Video Card effectivly?

Thanks I'll try those later. But just now I go this crazy error when using Visual C++ 2005:

The screen went blue and it said Windows had been shut down.

KERNEL_STACK_INPAGE_ERROR

Right I uninstalled SpyBot completly and left Defender running. Still freezes. It's really getting annoying now. What hardware components usually cause these sorts of problems and how are they fixed?

Will do. JAMs Tracker isnt the cause. the freezing began befiore I installed it. Its only a Killtracker for a game I play. I cannot find the Tools menu.  found an option called Resident IE but that's not it.. Now you mention it I think the Freezes may have begun after I installed defender but I cannot be sure.

EDIT: I found the tools menu. I wasn't in Advanced mode.

Tech Clinic / PC Randomly Locks Up
« on: June 02, 2006, 09:48:17 AM »
Hello All

Recently I had to get a new harddrive cos my old one blew up. All has been fine up until now. My PC keeps randomly freezing. And I mean Randomly. Some times it will do it after 2 Hours sometimes after 2 Minutes. It just totally locks up. No Mouse or Keyboard Input. Programs stop, Music stop everything FREEZES. And then i have to restart. I have scanned for Spyware even checked for overheating and neither of these seems to be the problem. What could be causing this annoying behaviour?

Those marks are probably just from the compression process when saving to JPEG. Where are these marks anyway? Don't jump to conclusions you fool. This account is for real.

MooScape I beleive was only for RuneScape Classic and there wasn't anything "almighty" about it. it just had an autotalker and stuff like that.

General Discussion / Update on Dad's game
« on: March 29, 2006, 09:37:09 AM »
No you mis understand me. Do you have any proof of this game? Screenshots? Videos? If not no-one is going to pay for a non-existent game so you should just get a free website (I never mentioned free webs) to post your progress then when you have something to show people may donate and then you can buy a domain. And "good websites u havr to pay" not true. it's the skill of the website designer that makes it a good website not what hosting it uses.
