Anyone have this laptop and found the same problem... dont have cd's that came with laptop and hp website does not have the driver or whatever needed to get the SMBus controller installed...

really frustrating.

How can i merge the .avi with the subtitles into a dvd format???

I am trying to find the fracken SM Bus Controller for the nx7010 laptop.

I've tried on the ATI website and Intel site for it but no luck...

Anyone got a solution plz!

Yes it will recocnize the drive....and all files. you can even boot up with teh 98win drive asswell.

yeah dude go read through this whole post and you will find the answer or so it seems. it uses the antiwpa patch... and using the windows+U key etc.

Hardware / ram not working right

Could be 2 reasons only....

1. You have an incompatabilty issue with your 2 ram sticks, one is running different hertz than other eg. PC266 or PC 400

2. One of the ram sticks are busted / most likely this reason its happend to me a few times. Very much doubt if its a bios thing...

Resolution is wrong, and higher is better. Speakers close to your monitor will do it. Mobile phones will also effect it. Anything magnetic will have and evect on it.

if its still under warranty then send it back.. even if its been working fine for now, later on it will pack up. Speacially if you are going to overclock the card.

First off being a woman does mean youre dumb.. i know men who cant even switch on a pc!

Yeah pluggin it into your back or front usb ports will be different. When you plug it into the usb port does it say anything/ like windows picking up Venus usb device... etc.

It might be that you need to go to your manage console and force the usb to use a different drive letter.

Aaarghhh what a sweeet smell i get here on this forum. People talking openly on how to crack WinXp... I LOVE IT.

I have WinX64 edition and going to try the suggested cracking methods shown here.
