One thing I would like to ask is do you know what the bolded line is?

This is weird.  I tried to locate the MSCONF.EXE but it wasn't there.  There is a MSCONF.DLL file (which I scanned with nothing found) but even after a restart there is no MSCONF.EXE file.

O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [msconf] C:\WINDOWS\System32\msconf.exe

But that ^^^ is still there.  Scan of MSCONF.DLL below.

AntiVir  Found nothing
Avast  Found nothing
AVG Antivirus  Found nothing
BitDefender  Found nothing
ClamAV  Found nothing
Dr.Web  Found nothing
F-Prot Antivirus  Found nothing
Fortinet  Found nothing
Kaspersky Anti-Virus  Found nothing
mks_vir  Found nothing
NOD32  Found nothing
Norman Virus Control  Found nothing
VBA32  Found nothing

Well, anyway.  The pylrnkrb.cjg file scan was successful, results below.  And I know you only wanted the scanner result, but it did come up with a packer.  Don't know if that is worth anything.

Status:  MIGHT BE INFECTED/MALWARE (Sandbox emulation took a long time and/or runtime packers were found, this is suspicious. Normally programs aren't packed and don't force the sandbox into lengthy emulation. Do realize no scanner issued any warning, the file can very well be harmless. Caution is advised, however.)

Packers detected:  UPX

I'm thinking I'm done with spyware for awhile.  But I'm so not sure.  I need help.  Does anyone see a problem in this log?  Something funky or whatnot?

Edit: I can't be done.  No way..  So here is the latest and greatest logfile.  I have bolded a file that I just can't find any info on ANYWHERE.  In fact, if you search google.com or altavista.com for this file, the only hit you get is a thread I posted at a previous time on this forum.  Any help as to what the heck this file is??

Tech Clinic / You've helped me once before...
« on: March 28, 2005, 07:14:44 PM »
Hey there.  I've been a guest lurker here for awhile.  The first time I ever was helped by thetechguide I had the TopAntiSpyware problem which was solved by you all.

I have a new, more devious problem.

After clearing the TopAntiSpyware problem I do daily scans for spyware.  Ever since clearing the TopAntiSpyware issue I've had a problem with multiple amounts of spyware installing itself on my machine at reboot.  I do a 10 minute scan with my spyware program and remove it all every time I start my computer.  Not cool..

Here is my log and any help is greatly greatly appriciated.  I can't figure out what is dropping all this spyware on my machine!

On another note I have a few which read something like - O17 - HKLM\System\CCS\Services\Tcpip\Parameters: Domain = ***-****.***

I know what those are and they are safe, just didn't want to broadcast the domain.   http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' />
