I am a new tech and came across a computer with the following error:
Blue screen, memory dump, restart and then "the system has recovered from a serious error"
error signature:
BCCode: d1 BCP1:0000012C BCP2:00000002 BCP3:00000000
BCP4: AAF53578 OSVer:5_1_2600 SP:2_0 Product 256_1
Technical Information:
C:\docume~1\mharbin\locals~1\temp\WERa5c0.dir00\Mini011906-01.dmp
C:\docume~1\mharbin\locals~1\temp\WERa5c0.dir00\sysdata.xml
The system was built new about in August and this error started in December.
They system is this:
Asus P5GD
P4 2.8 LGA 775
512 MB PC2700
Optorite CDRW
80GB SATA HD
Sound/Video/Network all integrated
We replaced the Powersupply early January with no luck. I then looked up the error code when I started last week and found it had been fixed by some with a re-install of XP pro. Tried that and all was well for a week. I then was asked to replace the MB and did that yesterday morning (1-18). I just got a call saying that it was doing the same thing again. (1-19)
The only things left to replace hardware wise is CPU and RAM.
The company uses a propietary server based software, but all files are run from the server and no other machine is having this error. One other thing is that they have outlook 03 programmed to startup with the computer and they just minimize it and let it run all day long. The only software connection I could make is the Outlook program. It has done this error with just the desktop (outlook running minimized), with AG software running, powerpoint, excel, word, IE browser, etc. The only common thing is Outlook running minimized.
Any Ideas on what to try now? We are able to RMA any of the parts as they are pretty new still.
Thanks in advance
Casey
