CPU Fan
« on: September 22, 2008, 09:05:38 PM »
I have a Gateway M675 notebook computer that I purchased in Jan. of 2004 and it seems that all of a sudden the CPU fan won't turn off.  EVER!  That is unless I shut the computer down, unplug the power supply, and take the battery out.  I don't care if the fan runs when I have the computer powered up or even in stand by mode but it should shut off if I shut it down shouldn't it? http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

Please help, Puddles.
