Regarding the article: Unlocking WinXP's setupp.ini
The following sentence is rather cofusing. I would appreciate it if someone would explain this:
"Now, for the actual values. Remember the first and last values are interchangable, but usually you'd keep them as a pair:"
Retail = 51882 335
Volume License = 51883 270
OEM = 82503 OEM
Does it mean you can put 335 in front of 51882, and whatever number is listed on my CD must be replaced by 51882? Is it true that replacing OEM with 270 will keep from having to enter a Windows key (even during a fresh install?).
Boy, this all seems a little too easy to be true.
