I have a rack and want to fit this Asus P4R800-VM I recently acquired.
However the Pentium 4 cpu came bundled with -what anyone should call- a huge cooler and fan combo. Moreover, the mobo has embeded some sort of plastic base for the cooler to be attached and firmly placed which also seems to hinder the motherboard's placement in the rack.

Is there anyway to detach this base and find a cooler+fan combo with smaller dimensions?
Or are there racks specifically designed for Pentium 4 motherboards?
