While one problem go away, another comes...
In the last week, I almost lost my HD. After using Powermax to phisically format it, I've recovered it. After that, installed Windows XP, completely configured it and used it for a few days... Then, suddenly, unexpectly, my computer keeps automatically turning off. At the beginning, I thought it was something about the RPC (Remote Procedure Call) and the lovesan virus. But no. It doesn't have a "modus operandi", which means that I can't determine when it will turn off: sometimes it reaches the OS and works for some minutes, sometimes it doesn't even complete BIOS reading.
I managed to configure the BIOS, to see if there were something about "Safe Temperature", or some, but no... Opened the side of my CPU, to get it colder, turned a fan by it's side. Didn't work. The highest temperature it reached was 49 Celsius. Quite cold.
I had a RAM problem recently. Decided to test. Took one of my 128 out. Didn't work. Exchange 'em. Also didn't work.
A strange behaviour: after turning off it spends some minutes then, suddenly and automatically, start over again.
I think is the Power Supply, but don't have how to test.
Any other clue?
