it's told me thatthe target box is not valid to other things..just getting pissed

Sorry guys if this has been done before i didn;t know how to do a search on this forum.

If you want to run it, you need to leave the actual command string alone, and add the extra options after the quotes..  You have it like this:

"C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe - developer"

It needs to look like this (notice the quotes):

"C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer

That way, because of the spaces, the computer can find the actual program itself, and add in the extra options / features you need in after the program is launched.

Hope It Helps  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':)\' /> !!

I've been trying too and it doesn't work. When I installed the game I didn't pick the create desktop icon option. I went to my start menu and sent it to desktop. Not sure if this is the problem or not.

I've tried different variations of C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Max Payne 2\MaxPayne2.exe" -developer

None work:( Keep getting a blasted target error message.  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

Sigh. For some reason after 30 min, it works now. I have no idea why.  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':o\' />
