Why can't XP remember my folder views?
« on: May 09, 2004, 09:21:31 PM »
Okay, here's the situation:  I have several subfolders within the My Documents folder.  I have the default view for explorer set to List, but or the root and most of subfolders of My Documents, I use the Tiles view.  But for some of them (those with photos for instance), I use the Thumbnails view.  I have the option checked in Folder Options to "Remember each folder's view settings."  But every other day or so, it will reset to the default view (List.)  I've tried disabling and re-enabling the "Remember..." setting in Folder options, but it keeps happening.  I just get irritated having to reset each subfolder's view.  Any advice on this one?

Oh yeah, I'm running XP Pro, SP1.
