win98 Installation problem

http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/ohmy.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':o\' /> i think i messed up i running window me w/256mg my computer was running very slow so i formatted and and change partition on my harddrive, I reinstall win me from the restoration cd that came with the system, win95 installed what happen to win98 i think i messed up when i deleted  partition and set new partition.
please help me what can i do

Hi
First the good news: You didn't do anything bad, when you re-partitioned your hdd. Partitioning your hdd can't turn your Win98 into Win95.

Your problem is most likely found in your recovery cd. Either you have a wrong one or it has an upgrade to Win98 lying somewhere on the cd.

i dont know what else to do i know i need to get more memory maybe thats the reason why win98 dont install. thank you for your help.
