nude pop ups
« on: May 22, 2004, 10:13:16 PM »
hi
i am working in a place where we use a roaming profile. Which means anybody can use any box in the organisation, since applications are delivered via SMS, since they are assigned to your login.
Now to come to the problem.... http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
somebody has used the computer that i usually use to view porn sites. So now when anybody logs into the system, during startup porn pages keep popping up.
Ive deleted the history, temporary files and cookies as well. But yet upon logging into the system again this repeats.
Can anybody help in finding where in the registry does this load from so that i can remove it from registry.http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/cool.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'B)\' />

Thanks ,
Rosh  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\'\' />

Howdy Rosh

Have you tried using Ad-Aware or something similar to scan the computer and let the Ad-Aware program do the work.

st start from registry, look under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE run, some files start from this key.
