i seem to have gotten a strange version of searchpage, but rather than the other uses 'about:blank' in the address bar and absolutely none of the techniques i have found to get rid of it work. nothing i can myself find in regedit or any strange dll folders in system 32. I'm extremely novice at this kind of stuff, so bear with me

the best i can get to hint what address it uses rather than about:blank is (i don't recommend using it) http ://searchx.cc/ which seems like the old one which i have had too many times
