winlogon renamed
« on: July 14, 2004, 02:36:45 PM »
I have installed Windows XP home edition in my laptop. Few days ago I started to have problems with a Spyware so in a delirious moment to get rid it off I renamed c:/windows/system32/winlogon.exe Then I turned the laptop off and when I turned on again windows never started.
I d like to know how to restore the extension and solve the problem.
I d appreciate any help asap because I have all my work there.
Thanks a lot.
