Hi all
Does anybody knows if I can connect a SATA disk as a second disk on my computer? (not as a RAID disk)
The board's book writes only how to make a RAID array and not an stand alone disk. How the BIOS can see that disk?
If I select disable on the BIOS option concerning the SATA, the system does not boot.
Ny board is the chaintech CT-7NJS
Thanks in advane

Well, I have one of my systems running the OS on a UATA IDE disk and data storage on a SATA 160GB disk. Just enable the SATA bios option in your mobo BIOS and select the other disk to boot from in the Boot Sequence option in the mobo bios.

I hope it helps.....  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
