Windows 98 - won't automatically maximize my windo

Hi All
Every time i open a new program window in Win98 I have to hit the maximize button.  Any ideas?

Hi all again
Never mind.  I remembered what to do.  DRAG THE WINDOW TO FILL THE SCREEN.  Solution found.
