I have 2 XP PC's on a home network via a Linksys router with DSL service. Both PC's can access DSL and see each others icon with a Network prompt. PC A is running with XP Home OS+SP 2. PC B is running XP PRO without SP2. When trying to access PC A's shared files it responds with ;
"You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permission. Access is denied".
PC B can see and access PC A's shared disk. This network was working properly prior to downloading SP2 but I can honestly say that caused my problem. All firewalls and Zon Alarm are disabled. Have read and tried all related fixes to other posts with similar problem on this forum. I am at loss as to the problem
