HijackThis log
« on: November 05, 2004, 09:58:14 AM »
I've tried to clean out my system using spybot and adaware but I'm still getting popups like crazy, even if i don't have IE open.  Someone suggested using HijackThis and post my log file for someone to review.  Here is my log file, any help is appreciated!!

Your running an old version of Hijackthis
Could you delete your copy from the desktop

Create a permanent folder for hijackthis
Eg///
Click My Computer, then C:\
In the menu bar, File->New->Folder.
That will create a folder named New Folder, which you can rename to HJT
You should now have C:\HJT
Could you please redownload Hijackthis fromThis link
and save it to that new folder

Post back with a fresh log from this version

Could you also open up
Ad-Aware
Click on Details---Let me know Reference Number and Internal Build

Next open up Spybot--Click on HELP.>ABOUT
Let me know Spybot Version and Latest detection date

One last thing
Could you download and save to desktop
VX2 Finder

Open it and "Click to Find VX2.BetterInternet"
Press "Make log"
Post this log too

Please do all the above, this will help to get you clean
