Windows XP Pro Activation

I borrow a win xp pro from my friend and install; then I use an activation software to activate the product.  Just when I though everything works, I get an error popup message informing me that Windows will reboot in 30 seconds. Then I keep getting this error constantly especially when I dial into the Internet and attempt to download something. Is it possible that Microsoft plants a virus to my computer because somehow they find out that my copy of xp is not legal?  I am screwed! please help! lol

Seriously you want help on how to rip off Microsoft? Well I can tell you one thing reform your hard drive and do us all a favour and buy a licenced copy. That copy will only work on the original PC’S it was activated on.

well, I did manage to crack the software without reformat.  It was the blasterworm that cause the error; I pop in the cracked norton and problem solved!  lol.  By the way, one copy can work on as many computers as I want; not just one computer like you said, you stupid fool.

There're plenty of ways to make a "licensed" copy of XP work on as many PCs as you one desire!  It just takes an extra 15 minutes to after the install to prepare the copy for service pack update!  It definately can be done. http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
