about:blank adware, with NO web connection

So I have seen a lot of posts about the "about:blank" spayware or adware, or whatever it is.  I have it, and it is really starting to bug me.  All of the fixes I have read on the web say download hijackthis spybot and adaware....  This I have done, and intalled, no problem.  The next part is what gets me.  The first thing to do before you run the "cleanup" part of these programs is to download the latest defs.  Well I have been hacked, and cannot access the web anylonger.  Can I do this manually, is it hard to do?  How can I find the virus/spyware/whatever that hosed my network connection?

From another computer download and save LSP fix

Transfer LSP fix to the other computer---Double click to run it
Let me know what you see on the left hand side box---KEEP
Just close out of it afterwards

Can you also transfer your Hijackthis log to another computer and post the log

Both LSP fix and Hijackthis are small enough to fit on a floppy
Make sure you post the Whole contents of Hijackthis
