Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05
Ensure you have this version or Professional
If you don't have this verision, install this one
After installation-CHECK FOR UPDATES
Allow to download updates
Don't run this yet, but check for updates now

Set Windows to Show Hidden Files and Folders

You may want to print this out or save to a Notepad file, just so you can follow along and stay disconnected from the NET

RESTART your Computer in SAFE MODENext: Go to START>>>RUN>>>type in services.msc and hit Enter
In the next window, look on the right hand side for this service
name---- Wintoos for IE service

Double click on it--- STOP the service--
In the drop down menu, change the startup type to Disabled

If for some reason, you can't find it enter your task manager and end the process on these
WSup.exe
WToolsA.exe

Also shut down this process if still running
altmsdhw.exe

Access your Add/Remove Programs and look for an entry for Wintools and Remove it

Stay in safe mode
Find and delete these files or folders if they exist
C:\WINDOWS\system32\altmsdhw.exe <--file

C:\Program Files\Common Files\WinTools <--folder

===Do a DiskCleanup>>START----Run---type in cleanmgr and hit Enter or OK
Ensure that Temp and Temporary Internet Files are checked

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://www.seekerbar.com/ie.aspx?tb_id=50154

R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,SearchAssistant = http://www.seekerbar.com/ie.aspx?tb_id=50154
R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.seekerbar.com/ie.aspx?tb_id=50154
R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName =
O2 - BHO: sPeerObj Class - {00000026-8735-428D-B81F-DD098223B25F} - C:\WINDOWS\speer.dll

O2 - BHO: (no name) - {87766247-311C-43B4-8499-3D5FEC94A183} - C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsB.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [vnkezwjmsampp] C:\WINDOWS\system32\altmsdhw.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [WinTools] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsA.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunOnce: [WinTools] C:\PROGRA~1\COMMON~1\WinTools\WToolsA.exe /boot

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
YES and exit Hijackthis

Again--Stay in safe and open Ad-Aware--ensure to update beforehand
Perform A Full System Scan
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button
====================================================
RESTART your computer back to Normal Mode

Look for this file and delete it if it still exists
C:\WINDOWS\speer.dll <--file

Don't open a browser yet, instead access Internet Options via Control Panel
Under the Programs tab "Reset Web Settings"
Under the General tab--- Reset home page

Post back a Fresh Hijackthis log and let me know your problems are resolved
