That looks better, let's try and get the rest of it

Open Notepad (START>>>RUN>>>type in notepad) hit Enter
Copy the contents of the Quote box to notepad

Important>>Change the Save as Type to All Files.
Name the file as search.reg

Save this file on the desktop, well need this later, don't run it yet
This will help to restore all your default search settings

Quote
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\DefaultPrefix]@="http://"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\URL\Prefixes]
"ftp"="ftp://"
"gopher"="gopher://"
"home"="http://"
"mosaic"="http://"
"www"="http://"

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\URLSearchHooks]
"{CFBFAE00-17A6-11D0-99CB-00C04FD64497}"=""

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer,SearchURL = http://thesearchmall.com/index.php

R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Bar = http://thesearchmall.com/index.php
R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://thesearchmall.com/index.php

Optionally, you can fix the next one too, not malicious but not required on startup
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [QuickTime Task] "C:\Program Files\QuickTime\qttask.exe" -atboottime
If you decide to fix the above one, ensure to enter Quicktime's preferences ahead of time and disable it from starting up

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
YES and exit Hijackthis

Double click on search.reg and allow it to Merge to the Registry

RESTART your computer
Find and delete these files if they exist
C:\WINDOWS\BTGrab.dll <--file
C:\install.cab <--file

Don't open a browser yet, instead access Internet Options via Control Panel
Under the Programs tab "Reset Web Settings"
Under the General tab---Delete files + offline content---Also Reset home page
Do a Disk Cleanup>>>Start--Run--type in cleanmgr and hit Enter or OK

Post back a Fresh hijackthis log and let me know how everythings going

Let's get you clean and then we should install some tools to help prevent this in the future

Everything looks fine now
If everything seems to be good at your end, this would be a good time to Clear all your System Restore Points to ensure you don't restore any Nasties

1. Right click the My Computer icon on the Desktop and click on Properties.
2. Click on the System Restore tab.
3. Put a check mark next to 'Turn off System Restore on All Drives'.
4. Click the 'OK' button.
5. You will be prompted to restart the computer. Click Yes. If your not prompted, restart anyways

Note: To re-enable the Restore Utility, follow steps one to five and on step three remove the check mark next to 'Turn off System Restore on All Drives
This will also create a fresh restore point once reenabled

To enhance your privacy and security
You should set up protection against future attacks

You should install these 2 apps., they add extra security while
silently protecting you, without running in the background

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==Link to Tutorial
Download link==Download link
Scroll down and click on IE-SPYAD.EXE Free!

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks

IE-Spyad, if you just need protection for a single user on the machine
Download IE-SPYAD.exe
For Global protection, to include all users on the machine
Download IE-SPYAD2.exe
You only need one or the other
IE-Spyad works fine with Service Pack 2 installed
Keep the link to IE-Spyad bookmarked so you can check for updates

Hold onto Ad-Aware and Spybot
Check for updates every couple of weeks and run scans
Ad-Aware--you can just run a Smart System Scan, it's quicker
Run a full System scan once in awhile

Spybot---You may also want to use the Immunization feature for a little added protection
Simply click Immunize>>OK>>Immunize at the top

Stay safe  http://images.thetechguide.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif\' class=\'bbc_emoticon\' alt=\':D\' />
and Happy Holidays
