Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [KAZAA] C:\Program Files\Kazaa\kazaa.exe /SYSTRAY <--doesn't need to be running on startup, scan everything you download with your AV

O4 - Global Startup: GStartup.lnk.disabled

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
YES and exit Hijackthis

Restart your computer

Find and delete these files or folders if they exist
C:\WINDOWS\System32\SahAgent.exe <--file

C:\Program Files\Common Files\GMT <--folder
C:\WINDOWS\System32\P2P Networking <--folder
C:\Program Files\Internet Optimizer <--folder
C:\Program Files\Power Scan
C:\Program Files\ISTsvc
C:\Program Files\Common Files\CMEII
c:\program files\altnet

Go back and enable SpywareGuards protections

Post back a fresh hijackthis log

Could you also open Hijackthis
Open the Misc Tools Section>>Open Hosts file manager
Click the "Open in Notepad"
Copy and paste back the whole contents of the hosts notepad file back here

Host file looks ok
If everything is running better you should disable system restore again, Restart your computer and then enable it

Would you mind posting one last Hijackthis log, just a final checkup

Can you post one from Hijackthis 1.99 yet?
