I do see a few problems,
I'm concerned about this entry in your log
C:\Program Files\Media Access\MediaAccess.exe
and related entries

can I get you too do the following please

Open Hijackthis>>Open the Misc tools section>>Open Uninstall Manager
Click the "Save List" button
Save the list to desktop and post it back here
You may have to update Hijackthis first to see this feature
So could you also

Update your version of Hijackthis to version 1.99.1
You can download the latest version from my signature below
Save it to C:\Documents and Settings\Yon Yak\My Documents\ folder
Allow to overwrite your version if prompted
Post back a fresh Hijackthis log from Hijackthis 1.99.1

I also see no Anti-Virus software on your computer, do you have your own to Install and run or do you need a free solution?

Access your Add/Remove Programs and remove
ShopAtHomeSelect Cash Back
If given a code to Insert, do so

Restart your computer afterwards

Back in Windows

Print the rest of this out or save too a Notepad file on your desktop
Close out all browser windows, including this one

Open Hijackthis>>Open Misc tools sections>>Open Process manager
Kill these processes if you can, if you can't carry on
C:\Program Files\Media Access\MediaAccK.exe
C:\Program Files\Media Access\MediaAccess.exe

Do another scan with Hijackthis and put a check next to these entries:

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Media Access] C:\Program Files\Media Access\MediaAccK.exe

O16 - DPF: {15AD6789-CDB4-47E1-A9DA-992EE8E6BAD6} - http://static.windupdates.com/cab/Download.../bridge-c15.cab

Do you know what the next ones are related too?
If not fix them too, they don't look right, we're just stopping them from starting up
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Text Editor] TEXTEDITOR.EXE
O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [Windows Text Editor] TEXTEDITOR.EXE

After you have ticked the above entries, close All other open windows, including this one
Leave Hijackthis open and click FIX CHECKED
OK the prompt and exit Hijackthis

Access your Add/Remove Programs again and remove
Media Access
I would remove
Viewpoint Media Player too

Restart your computer again

Delete this folder
C:\Program Files\Media Access <-folder

Let's run a Spyware Checker on your computer
Download and Install the free version of Ad-Aware SE Personal 1.05
Ensure you have this version or the paid version
Open Ad-Aware, ensure to click the  check for updates now link and Connect to download the latest updates
Perform a Full system scan--"Uncheck Search for Negligible Risk Entries" before scanning
When it's finished scanning
At this point you should either right click on the screen and and choose the "Select All" Objects option or individually put a checkmark in each objects checkbox
click on the Next button. Ad-Aware SE will now present you with a confirmation box as to whether or not you would like to remove the objects you have just selected. Press the "OK" button

RESTART your computer to finish the cleaning process

Back in Windows

Let's get some Virus protection on your computer
This is free and will have free updates for the life of the product
Go to this link
Give it time to load if it's busy
http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
Scroll down and click on
avg70free_308a468.exe or similiar
and save the Installer to desktop

Double click to Install AVG7 free edition
Once installed it may prompt you too restart your computer
Do so and then ensure it is Updated and run a Full System Scan
Let it fix what ever it finds

Post back a fresh Hijackthis log afterwards
Hold onto Ad-Aware too

Can you let me know where AVG is finding these files

And yes delete them if you can

EDIT>>You should be able to Right click the AVG icon by the clock
Click on Launch AVG control Center
Click on TEST Results
Highlight your results
Click on Program and then Export list

Name and save to desktop
copy and paste back the results

Oh, they were in .zip files, archived. So that's why it couldn't delete them, but I went and deleted them myself. The files were in this folder:

C:\Documents and Settings\Goo Family\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javapi\v1.0\jar

The file names were:

Well I hope you deleted all of them you could find
I would also opt to do this
Enter your control panel and click on the Java Plugin
Click on the Cache tab and clear Cache

Also ensure that this file is gone
C:\temp\cxtpls_loader_ff.exe <--file
Or better yet make sure you clean out all your temp folders

If everything is running better

You should disable system restore---restart your computer--enable system restore
This will clear all your restore points and ensure you don't restore any nasties
Once reenabled it will create a fresh restore point
How to Disable and Re-enable System Restore feature

Once back in Windows and System Restore is reenabled

You should set up protection against future attacks

SpywareBlaster by JavaCool---will block bad ActiveX and malevolent cookies
Install---Check for Updates---Enable all protection
http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html

IE-Spyad---IE-SPYAD puts over 5000 sites in your restricted zone so you'll be protected when you visit innocent-looking sites that aren't actually innocent at all.
Here is a tutorial and download link
TUTORIAL==Link to Tutorial
Download link

With both, Check for updates every couple of weeks
Keep the link to IE-Spyad bookmarked so you can check for updates
SpywareBlaster, after every update just simply enable all protection
